Ingredients
Scale
Meat and Vegetables
- 1 ½ pounds ribeye steak – thinly sliced (or shaved)
- 1 yellow onion – thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper – thinly sliced
Seasonings and Sauces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or butter)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ tablespoon dried parsley
Dairy and Bread
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 12 slider buns
- 4 tablespoons salted butter – melted
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350℉ and lightly grease or spray your baking pan to prepare for the sliders.
- Prepare Ingredients: Thinly slice the ribeye steak, onion, and green bell pepper so they cook evenly and quickly.
- Cook Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced ribeye and season with ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce. Cook until the steak is browned and cooked through, then remove from the skillet and set aside in a bowl.
- Sauté Vegetables: Using the same skillet, add the thinly sliced green bell pepper and onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then sauté until the vegetables are soft and tender. Remove from heat.
- Assemble Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping all buns connected as a 12-pack. Place the bottom halves on the greased baking sheet. Evenly layer the cooked steak over the buns, followed by the sautéed onions and bell peppers. Add 8 slices of provolone cheese on top, then cover with the top halves of the buns.
- Prepare Butter Mixture: Melt the salted butter and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Brush and Bake: Brush the buttery seasoning mixture generously over the tops of the slider buns. Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are golden and cheese is melted.
- Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and serve immediately while warm for the best taste and texture.
Notes
- For best slicing, partially freeze the ribeye steak before thinly slicing to make it easier.
- Substitute provolone with mozzarella or American cheese for a different melt and flavor profile.
- Leftover sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven at 300°F for 15 minutes or microwave for 30-60 seconds; microwave reheating may cause the buns to become slightly soggy.
- If desired, you can add sautéed mushrooms or hot peppers for extra flavor and heat.
