Description
A light and fluffy Strawberry Cold Foam recipe that adds a creamy, fruity topping to your iced drinks, made with heavy cream, freeze-dried strawberries, milk, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Perfect for enhancing coffee or tea beverages with a fresh strawberry flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
Cold Foam Mixture
- 30 ml heavy cream, cold
- 5 g freeze dried strawberries, powdered (or strawberry syrup)
- 15 ml whole milk or non-dairy alternative
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 g powdered sugar, or to your taste
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a jar or container, mix together the cold heavy cream, freeze-dried strawberry powder, milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until all ingredients are well combined.
- Whip the Mixture: Use a handheld frother or a whisk to whip the mixture until it turns light and fluffy, forming soft peaks. Be careful not to over-whip.
- Avoid Over-whipping: Stop whipping once soft peaks form to maintain the smooth, creamy texture essential for cold foam.
- Serve or Store: Serve the strawberry cold foam immediately by pouring it over your iced drink of choice, or cover and store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
- Enjoy Your Drink: Top your iced coffee, tea, or other cold beverage with the strawberry cold foam and enjoy the delicious creamy fruitiness.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream and milk with coconut cream and almond milk.
- Freeze-dried strawberry powder can be substituted with a small amount of strawberry syrup, but adjust the sugar accordingly.
- Use chilled ingredients for best whipping results and texture.
- Do not over-whip as the foam could become too stiff and lose its creamy mouthfeel.
- This foam works best on cold or iced beverages rather than hot drinks.
