Description

A quick and healthy Greek Yogurt Parfait recipe layered with plain Greek yogurt, fresh berries, and crunchy granola, perfect for a nutritious breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Parfait Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, optional – more as a drizzle
  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup berries, or any other fruit cut into small 1-inch chunks
  • ¼ cup homemade granola, or store-bought granola

Instructions

  1. Sweeten the Yogurt: If using a sweetener, mix the honey or maple syrup with the Greek yogurt in a small bowl until fully combined to add a touch of natural sweetness.
  2. Layer the Parfait: Place half of the sweetened yogurt at the bottom of a mason jar or a bowl. Then add half of the fruit and half of the granola as layers on top.
  3. Add Remaining Layers: Cover the fruit and granola with the rest of the yogurt, followed by the remaining fruit and granola to complete the parfait layers.
  4. Finish and Serve: If preferred, drizzle additional honey on top for extra sweetness and serve the parfait immediately for the best texture and freshness.

Notes

  • This recipe can be multiplied to serve more people easily.
  • For make-ahead parfaits, skip layering the granola inside to prevent sogginess; instead, serve granola on the side to add just before eating.
  • Use 8 oz. mason jars for ideal portion sizes and convenient serving.
