Ingredients
Scale
Steak and Seasoning
- 2 steaks, strip, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 teaspoons steak seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Vegetables
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 2 zucchini, chopped
- 10 ounces grape tomatoes, halved
Other Ingredients
- 18 ounces cheese tortellini, fresh
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, shredded, plus more for garnish
- ¼ cup Buffalo Wild Wings parmesan garlic sauce
- Parsley, fresh chopped, for optional garnish
Instructions
- Season the steak bites: Sprinkle the steak pieces evenly with steak seasoning and set them aside to absorb the flavors.
- Cook the steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak bites and cook for 2 minutes before stirring. Continue to cook for an additional 2 minutes until the steak pieces are golden brown on all sides.
- Sauté the vegetables: Add the sliced onions, yellow bell peppers, and halved grape tomatoes to the skillet with the steak. Stir everything together and cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables have softened and are tender.
- Cook the tortellini: Add the fresh cheese tortellini and chicken broth to the skillet. Cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes or until the tortellini is tender and cooked through.
- Add cheese and sauce: Stir in the shredded parmesan cheese and parmesan garlic sauce until everything is well combined and the cheese has melted into a creamy sauce coating the ingredients.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra parmesan cheese if desired. Serve the dish immediately while hot.
Notes
- You can substitute strip steak with ribeye or sirloin steak for a different flavor and tenderness.
- If fresh tortellini is not available, frozen tortellini works well; just adjust cooking time accordingly.
- Vegetables can be swapped or added to—such as mushrooms or spinach—for more variety.
- To make this dish gluten free, use gluten-free tortellini and verify the seasoning and sauce ingredients.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheated gently on the stovetop or microwave.
