Basic Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 1 tube crescent dough
- 1 wheel Brie cheese
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup finely chopped roasted, unsalted pecans
- 6 rosemary sprigs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- All-purpose flour, for dusting
Instructions
- Prepare Oven and Muffin Tin: Arrange a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 375°. Grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin generously with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Crescent Dough Cups: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the crescent dough and pinch the seams together to form one sheet. Cut the dough into 24 equal squares. Press each square firmly into the prepared muffin cups, shaping to form little dough cups.
- Add Fillings: Cut the Brie cheese into small pieces and place one piece inside each dough cup. Spoon about one teaspoon of whole berry cranberry sauce on top of the Brie. Sprinkle finely chopped roasted pecans over the cranberry sauce. Finally, top each bite with one piece of the rosemary sprigs for added aroma and flavor.
- Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then carefully remove the bites from the tin and serve warm for the best flavor experience.
Notes
- Use a light coating of cooking spray to ensure the dough does not stick to the muffin tin.
- If you prefer, substitute pecans with walnuts or pistachios for different nutty flavors.
- Rosemary can be omitted or replaced with thyme for a milder herb flavor.
- Make sure to pinch seams of crescent dough well to prevent bubbling or separation during baking.
- Use whole berry cranberry sauce for texture and taste; homemade or store-bought both work well.
