Description

This Easy Buldak Soup Ramen recipe combines spicy buldak carbonara ramen with a creamy mix of mayo and egg yolk, topped with flavorful garnishes like chili oil, green onion, crispy onions, and a boiled egg for a deliciously comforting meal ready in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package buldak carbonara ramen
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Hot ramen water, as much as desired

Garnishes

  • Chili oil, for garnish
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 boiled egg, sliced or whole
  • Crispy onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce mixture: In a bowl, combine the cheese packet, spice packet from the ramen package, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, and 1 egg yolk. Stir thoroughly to create a smooth paste.
  2. Cook the ramen noodles: Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the ramen noodles. Cook until tender according to the package instructions, approximately 4-5 minutes.
  3. Incorporate the hot water: Carefully spoon some of the boiling water into the sauce mixture while continuously stirring to thin it out and prevent the egg yolk from scrambling.
  4. Combine noodles and sauce: Drain the cooked noodles and add them to the bowl with the sauce mixture. Toss to coat the noodles evenly.
  5. Add garnishes and serve: Top the bowl with sliced green onion, a drizzle of chili oil, crispy onions, and the boiled egg sliced or whole. Serve immediately and enjoy your spicy buldak soup ramen!

Notes

  • Use fresh green onions for the best flavor and garnish appearance.
  • Adjust chili oil quantity to taste for varying spice levels.
  • If preferred, substitute mayonnaise with a vegan mayo to make it vegetarian-friendly.
  • To make the boiled egg jammy, boil for about 6-7 minutes before peeling.
  • Stir the sauce mixture thoroughly to ensure even spice distribution before adding noodles.
