Main Ingredients
- 2 8 inch flatbreads (naan preferred)
- ¼ cup ranch dressing, plus more for drizzle
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded chicken (rotisserie recommended)
- ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles
- ¼ cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425˚F to ensure it’s hot enough to crisp the flatbread and melt the cheese properly.
- Prepare Flatbread Base: Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet and spread ¼ cup ranch dressing evenly over each flatbread. Then sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top of the ranch.
- Add Toppings: Distribute the shredded chicken evenly over the cheese layer, then sprinkle ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles across each flatbread. Finally, drizzle ¼ cup buffalo sauce over the toppings to add that signature spicy kick.
- Bake: Bake the flatbreads on the middle rack of the oven for 12 minutes until the cheese has melted completely and the edges of the flatbread are crispy and golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chopped green onions on top. Drizzle additional ranch dressing over to your liking. Cut each flatbread into 3-4 slices and serve immediately to enjoy the melty, spicy flavors.
Notes
- Substitutions: Use blue cheese dressing instead of ranch, mozzarella cheese in place of cheddar, or thinly sliced red onion instead of green onions for variations.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in microwave or oven before serving.
- Freezing: This recipe freezes well before cooking. To freeze, assemble the flatbreads and wrap tightly, then bake from frozen when ready.
- Reheating: Reheat in the microwave in 30-second intervals or warm up in the oven until heated through.
- Scaling: Easily double or halve the recipe to suit your serving needs.
